National Cooperative Refinery Association (NCRA) is an inter-regional cooperative engaged in crude oil
acquisition, transportation, refining, and product distribution. NCRA was organized in 1943 by five
regional farm supply cooperatives to acquire the Globe Oil Refinery at McPherson, Kansas. Products
from NCRA's 85,000 barrel-per-day refinery are purchased by the Member-Owner cooperatives (shown
above with their ownership percentages as of 08/31/2008) and distributed to their affiliated local farm
supply cooperatives throughout the North Central United States.
