POLICY
NCRA and its subsidiaries will conduct business in a manner that respects
health, safety and the environment.
We are committed to:
- Providing a safe and healthy, workplace for all employees.
- Providing safe and healthy locations for customers, clients, business
associates and contractors to conduct business.
- Conducting our business with regard for the environment, health and safety of
the communities in which we operate.
- Meeting or exceeding the requirements of all applicable environmental, health
and safety laws and regulations.
- Maintaining effective emergency preparedness and response systems.
- Considering the environment, health and safety in all business decisions.
- Minimizing waste generation, discharges and emissions, and handling waste in
a responsible manner.
- Working with governments and other stakeholders to develop balanced
environmental, health and safety programs.
This policy applies to NCRA and Jayhawk Pipeline, L.L.C., including:
- Directors, officers and employees
- Facilities
- Business activities
NCRA and its subsidiaries assign the following responsibilities to uphold
the corporation's environment, health and safety standards:
- Senior management is accountable for the implementation and enforcement of
this policy.
- The Environment, Health & Safety Team is responsible for the
development and maintenance of corporate compliance standards, guidelines and monitoring
systems.
- Supervisors will ensure that employees are properly trained and equipped to
meet their responsibilities under this policy.
- Employees must be aware of and comply with environment, health and safety
policies applicable to his or her duties.
- Every director, officer and employee must report suspected violations of this
policy.
